Anastasiya is a Ukrainian-born, Toronto-raised, multimedia content specialist. With a BA in Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University, her work has appeared in digital and broadcast outlets across Canada. For two years her mornings began at 4:00am, working as a segment producer on the country's number one morning show, Breakfast Television. She is currently working as in government as a press secerety and senior communications advisor.

With an interest in sustainable development and humanitarian aid, she is simultaneously pursuing her MA in Global Security from King's College London. She is currently researching the global security implicatons of Artificial Intelligence's impact on digital news.

Anastasiya has a passion for plain language and storytelling, seeking to make complex ideas accessible to diverse audiences.

In her spare time, Anastasiya works as a Skate Canada figure skating coach, sharing her love for the ice with the next generation of skaters.
